RIS (Radiology Information System) manages the operational and administrative side of radiology: patient admission, appointments, examination planning, worklists and reporting. PACS is responsible for storing, distributing and displaying images. The NishMind RIS solution works integrated with PACS: operations are handled on the RIS side, images on the PACS side.
What problem does teleradiology solve?
Teleradiology gathers examinations from centres in different locations into a single reporting pool so that a specialist radiologist can report from wherever they are. This reduces reporting delays at centres without on-site specialists, prioritises emergency cases and balances peak workload across centres.
Are NishMind solutions AI-compatible?
Yes. The NishMind data foundation is designed to be ready for AI-based analysis through its collection, processing and standardisation layers. Structured reporting and standardised clinical data produce the consistent dataset that AI models require.
